Course closed for one year and reopened on 6/1/23. I had been praying there for 30 plus yeas. I am a local golf coach and also was a coach with FirstTee many years at this same location. I say all that to show I am not a new or inexperienced golfer. I took two of my team to start their summer training and we were greeted with a very cold reception. I had not played new course and was eager to see improvements. One of my team with me this day was a new golfer, first time he had ever been on a course. They had no pull carts to rent but one of my team did have his pull cart. They also told us to hit from on the mats, still no b Troustarted on firs tee box as my new golfer was about t hit “from the mat”, the started standing 30 yards away, yells as he was swinging “Hit from the Mats”. Once the starter stood up, he could see he was on the mat. We played Two holes when another older golfer walked over to my golfers cart and started to walk away with it. When we stopped him, he said we weren’t allowed to have a pull cart on the course. We had a brief heated conversation with this guy and he stormed off towards club house. As we finished next hole, here comes the old guy on an electric cart weaving around the holes. Handed my golfer a trash back and said he was righ and cart had to go, put your clubs in the trash bag and he will take the cart. We said no and he kicked us off course. No refund given and in fact the guy in clubhouse lied about our interaction at check in. Course was also said to be for junior golfers but in no way can young golfers. Rough was 8-10” deep and greens too much roll. Nice layout for first 3 holes, unfortunately I may never play there again, nor any of my golf team.
OMG what a deal! $10.50 to walk 9…. Awesome sauce. Yes tees and fairways not the best but greens were actually in good shape. Lush grass, slightly slow and hardly or no divot marks. Domestic beer very cheap. Staff excellent and friendly. Play here to warm up. I shot 1 over, 9 holes 28….
