Nice big park. However, the playground area needs additional bark put in. The liner has come through and made it precarious for kids to maneuver around it so they don't get their feet caught and fall. While I was there, a 2 yr old and her daddy took a tumble. I also think the city could stand to put additional picnic tables and benches. I counted only 2 picnic tables a d for the size of the park (over 7 acres). It is a beautiful park built in 1907 and at almost 200 yrs old the trees are amazing. Great place for a birthday but BYOT (bring your own tables). Our 8 year old granddaughter had fun all in all.

This park is pretty clean only thing is that the toys are sitting right in the sun so it's hot for little ones but that don't stop them all the time as we know.
