We had an absolutely great time riding in the dunes. I wasn’t a fan of all the safety we had to go through at first. Then, we got out there. I have never been so happy that we were trained properly. Drop offs are the real deal. Incredibly scary if you don’t know what you are doing. We could have stayed all day. It was so beautiful and we had a great time! I would recommend booking at least the 4 hour excursion. Times flies when you are having fun!
Well worth the price, we went on the 1 hour slow Dunes tour. The people were friendly and the driver was knowledgeable and entertaining. If you're able to be flexible do your best to tour on a sunny day, which is hard to find and difficult to predict. The views and pictures will be best on a day when you can see the sky. We couldn't but it is still worth it. The bumper boats were super fun for the kids, 6 and 11. They went on them twice. 5 min rides for $10/person, but they loved it.
