This is a pretty area along the Pecos River. We were mostly at the Veterans Memorial Park just taking photos and walking on the sidewalk path. It's a nice place for a peaceful stroll. (The road in this area is closed for construction, so that may have contributed to the quietness.)
Perfect place to go jogging/walking in their nice 3.5 mile paved trail around the Pecos river, all while enjoying the nice scenery. There are 2 nice play grounds, 1 water park, and a swimming area. At some spots sometimes it smells like dead fish , but that's not a big deal to me.
