This was our first time at the 500 Club. The staff was awesome. Scott took my phone call, Alex was the first to greet us at the course, Norm explained the course and the tall bartender with ponytail (sorry I forgot your name) was ready with beers post round. All were very welcoming and easy to talk to. The course was in great shape considering the season. I was paired up with a member and another guy that had played the course several times. A few of the holes are blind and their advice was very helpful. The greens are fast and true. There is no reason to play anywhere else if your in the area.
I have been here on two separate occasions now and both times I was blown away! I never played it under the Larkin name, but when I tell you that I would make the drive from Fort Mill for this place, I mean it! First Visit- Bar and Sim Rental Great experience. Bays are built well with plenty of room. 3 total bays in the building. Pricing was fair, we went on a Thursday night. Foresight software is great and the mats are solid. Second Visit! 18 on a Monday First off $50 for this course after all the renovations (they redid all the greens!) is very fair especially because lesser quality courses charge more! Staff was very friendly. There is no range yet, They were working on it when we went, but there is a nice building near the putting green with mats and nets to warm up with. All in all, I highly recommend making the trip to Statesville!
