They have lots of games and activities, but don’t allow you to bring a cake or balloons for a birthday if you don’t have a room…and by the way, all the rooms are booked. That kind of policy is too restrictive especially considering they don’t have any rooms to book. Don’t worry Kokomo, you’re still gonna make plenty of money elsewhere. RESPONSE TO OWNER: Thank you for taking the time to respond. Respectfully, I’ve shared how your policy FAILS to maintain a great experience for THIS guest(s). As I said before, there is plenty of money to be made elsewhere apart from requiring booking rooms in order to bring balloons and a cake. I would have bought food and played lots of games for me and my guests. Simultaneously, I recognize it’s a free market and you’re a private business with the freedom to have your policies. Likewise, me and my guests have the freedom to go elsewhere. Thanks again for your response and time.
I recently hosted a party at Kokomo Joe's for 15 adults and 15 kids, and I was quite disappointed. The party room was small, with insufficient chairs for our group, leading to an uncomfortable experience. Our host was not helpful at all, leaving us without a clear plan for how to manage the event, especially regarding photos, the trampoline park, bounce beach and mini bowling. The activities became chaotic, with no direction on how to play, and other parties kept invading our space. We had also assumed there would be a dedicated area for the kids when playing mini bowling, but they were mixed in with everyone else, making supervision difficult. The Bounce Beach, and Trampoline Park there were no staff members to organize the trampoline park or the beach bounce, resulting in kids running in and out without wristbands or parental oversight. Kids began also fist fighting and jumping on the bounce houses with boots and tennis shoes on. When we raised our concerns with the staff, they seemed unconcerned, and did nothing. To add to our frustrations, we discussed an overcharge with Lashay, who assured us it was fixed, but Alex later confirmed it was correct. Upon checking our receipt at home, I found that we still overpaid despite their reassurances. Overall, I cannot recommend booking a party here. It might be better to simply grab food and enjoy the arcade games instead. I’ll update my review based on how customer service handles our billing issue.
