Here's how it went: - **Bowling:** There were minor issues, but nothing significant enough to complain about. - **Food:** Delicious, though it took a bit longer than expected to arrive. The staff acknowledged the delay, which was appreciated. - **Arcade Games:** This is where the experience really fell apart. Main Event boasts a large selection of games, but frustratingly, more than half were out of order. Specifically, the shooter games were a letdown; issues with gun functionality and sensor accuracy made gameplay frustrating. For the price point, the expectation is certainly for better maintenance of arcade games. **Overall Thoughts:** While it's a great place to hang out, the poor condition of the arcade games significantly drags down the overall score. If you're considering hosting a birthday party, perhaps only for kids seven and under, as the games are not reliable unless you're content with the ticket games, which are somewhat of a scam. **Service:** A bright spot in our visit was our server, Tristan. He was absolutely fantastic, providing the best service we could have asked for. He truly deserves recognition and some form of reward for his excellent work. **Conclusion:** Main Event could improve by ensuring their arcade games are in working order, matching their pricing with the quality of experience provided. However, if you're just looking for a spot to chill and have good food, it's not a total loss, especially with service like Tristan's.
