Arrowwood Resort & Conference Center

We’re currently staying here, and I wish I had done more research before giving the green light for my boyfriend’s family to book this place. We chose it primarily to celebrate a late Christmas and for the kids to enjoy swimming. While the room itself isn’t terrible, it has a distinct barnyard smell. We turned off the air and opened the window to try to improve it, but it didn’t help much. I informed the front desk, but all I got was a simple “sorry.” For the price we’re paying—especially with water park admission added on separately—it’s just not worth it. Why not include that in the resort fees? On top of that, there’s no room service (which we assumed they offered), and the coffee provided is undrinkable. If you stay here, bring your own or plan to grab coffee elsewhere. Also food options in the winter are not as advertised on their website. Plan accordingly if you decide to stay here. One suggestion would be to offer a grab and go breakfast bar with pastries, bagels, coffee for a cost. It’s disappointing because this property has so much potential. It’s a beautiful space with good bones, but it desperately needs attention and care. Staff should also be trained to be more empathetic and professional when handling guest concerns. Please do better!
