Had our wedding there awhile back. Beautiful venue. However the grounds guy was insanely rude to all the children they were outside playing tag in the grass and he approached them and yelled. They weren't doing anything but literally running in a grass patch 50 feet from where we were standing. Needless to say after being approached by crying children several parents wanted to put hands on him. Also my little sister was getting into a golf cart to go home later in the night. After putting her kids into the golf cart she was getting in with her long dress and the employee driving the cart started accelerating dispite being told not everyone is in yet and ended up rolling her across the ground. When she told him she got hurt and he needs to pay better attention. His response "My mom's the head of HR so I'm not really worried about it" she wasn't drunk and it was not fault of her own. The kid didn't apologize and didn't care what so ever. I called The HR lady (his mom) she didn't answer or call back for days. When i finally spoke to her she was pretty unbothered by the actions of her son even though he literally rolled someone across the ground and hurt them. After we finished eating and they took the food away I assumed we got it back due to us paying for it. Later in the night people wanted food again I ask the girl whose running the wedding and she said they threw it away. I wasn't told any of this. When I conveyed my frustration with this because they never told me that's their policy. After the wedding was over I realized I forgot my wallet in the changing room so I ran back to the venue and when I got into the venue I seen all the workers had to go boxes with my food. I wouldn't care if they wanted to take some home but I was lied to and that's ridiculous. When I was talking about this with another person couple months later he had the same experience. They take your food simply so they can have it. It's total bullshit. The blonde girl who now runs the weddings at the venue is completely useless. Without her and the grounds keeper and their stupidity and rudeness everything would of been perfect. Thanks for making the day drama filled and complicated. The wedding coordinator is completely useless. 0 out of 10. Hopefully you you go into another field and stop ruining people's wedding.
