This is a wonderful destination camp ground. The lake is very close, there is a pool, a basic store and snack shack on site. The sites are clean, good sized and all are in a beautiful location with plenty of tall trees for shade. The bathrooms are well maintained and the staff is great. There is a large off road riding area close by not part of the KOA but adjacent to the property. Several things I'd like to see improved to make this resort truly top notch. I'd like to see the WiFi reception improved. Maybe extend the service out further so campers can get reception within their sites. A few repeaters should do it. Currently you have to walk to the store to use the system. And the electrical infrastructure needs to improve in some areas. There have been outages that occur due to an old antiquated system which has a hard time keeping up with the demand during peek demand. Those enhancements may be a little pricy to do but would improve the overall experience. There are many reasons people return to this place every year. I've only mentioned a few.
Trinity Lake KOA is our absolute favorite place to camp. Beautiful setting, pool, kid activities, Lyons Bingo, attentive staff. We have been coming every year for 10 years. We actually met our best friends only because we camped next to them and totally clicked. Now we meet up with our kids for 2 weeks every summer. Now under new ownership, it’s even better! They even have a food truck during the summer, helps when you want to take a night off from cooking. Their general manager Pam is awesome and super attentive to her guests needs. We plan on coming back year after year! ❤️
